ArcGIS Pro Tutorial Lessons
This article will give ten free tutorial lessons to help you to learn ArcGIS Pro.
The first tutorial starting with basic level to help you start to work with ArcGIS Pro. In this tutorial you will learn how to add data to a map, editing features, creating a scene, analyzing raster data and applying 3D symbology.
2. 3D Animation.
This tutorial will teach you how to work and create 3D Animation. You will learn how to make a scene, adding and labeling map notes, creating an animation and exporting an animation to video format.
3. Geocoding
This lesson will guide you how to make a voter map for campaign strategy. In this lesson you will learn how to geocode addresses from a spreadsheet, enriching layers using Tapestry data, mapping US Census data and creating a presentation.
4. Map Creation
In this tutorial you will learn how to create a beautiful map. For that, you will learn how to create a layer from a CSV file, symbolizing dense point features, adding reference data from the Living Atlas of the World, labeling, creating a time series chart, binning data into hexagons, configuring a layout for print maps.
This lesson is very interesting, because it will give you a tutorial how to analyze data using statistics and the R-ArcGIS Bridge. So in this tutorial you will learn how to set up the R-ArcGIS bridge, aggregating data based on areas and times of interest, exploring temporal trends in a dataset, enriching data to include additional attributes of interest, performing data cleaning and maintenance, transferring data between ArcGIS and R, utilizing functions in R to perform statistical analysis, and exploring relationships between attributes in a dataset. Take a look the video below to preview the tutorial.
This tutorial will teach you how to perform spatial and temporal analysis for intelligence analysis. In this tutorial you will learn how to display Excel data in a map, editing an attribute table, configuring the Time Slider and applying spatial and temporal analysis.
The purpose of this tutorial is to extract building roof top from Lidar Data. You will follow a workflow with an ArcGIS Pro task, creating LAS point cloud datasets from lidar data, creating Level of Detail (LOD) 2 buildings for a 3D scene, and editing 3D features.
8. Open Geodata
Open Geodata is geographic data that is shared for free. You can find open geodata in many format, theme and services. This lesson will guide you how to use the LandsatLook app, to search the USGS databases for a relatively recent image with low cloud cover. You'll download the image and add it to a map in ArcGIS Pro. You'll then change the default band combination to display the image more clearly.
This tutorial will take you at the next level to do image processing using ArcGIS Pro. In this lesson you will learn how to do land cover classification over a series of image and then to determine the change in the area.
In this tutorial you will learn how to perform a supervised classification and assessing classification accuracy. At the end you will calculate land-use area per feature.
That's all 10 tutorial lessons to help you learn ArcGIS Pro from novice to more advanced level. You can find more ArcGIS tutorial at ArcGIS tutorial gallery.
